Coker 371 Gold was released by Novartis Seeds, Inc. in 1986. It was developed from crosses involving Speight G-28, NC 82 and several breeding lines. It has high resistance to black shank and moderate resistance to Granville wilt and brown spot. Grows to a height of 4 1/2 - 5 feet. It flowers 65 days after transplanting and produces 19 harvestable leaves. Cures easily to a good yellow orange color. PI 552524		Click on picture to see larger image
