Celikhan is a strain of Adiyaman tobacco originating in the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey. The most exclusive Adiyaman tobaccos are grown in Celikhan, a district of Adiyaman. Growing to a height of only 2-3 feet, it has closely spaced long narrow leaves. The leaves can reach 24-30 inches in length and 6 inches in width. It matures early in only 40-45 days. Adiyaman tobaccos have a nicotine content of 1.7% to 2% and a very low nitrogen content of only 1%. The low nitrogen makes Celikhan very smooth to smoke.
