Adonis is a new breed of dark air cured tobacco with low nicotine and spicy flavor. Developed in Germany, this vigorous early season grower performs very well in cooler climates producing a dark green heavy weight leaf. It has closely spaced leaves and grows to 5 feet. Its low dense growth make it very resistant to adverse weather conditions. Mature plants have some light frost resistance.
