  Vuelta Abajo is an heirloom oriental variety that has has been grown in the Vuelta region of Cuba for many generations. The leaves have good elasticity making them excellent for use as cigar wrappers. When grown in full sun and in soil with good nitrogen levels, Vuelta Abajo is one of the most potent oriental tobaccos known with nicotine levels at 4.6%. It matures in 50 days and grows to a height of 4'-5', with leaves averaging 10"-12" in width and 16" long.
