 VA 355 is a Fire-cured tobacco variety with an average yield 2270 kg/ha with an average grade index of 63. It has good resistance to race 0 black shank and resistance to race 1 black shank. The plants grow 4 1/2 to 5 feet to the flower head with almost no suckering and blooms about 60 days after transplant. It produces 12-15 leaves averaging 10-12 inches in width and 25-30 inches in length. Average nicotine concentration 5.59%.
