  Punta De Lanza is a cigar filler from Guatemala dating back to the 1930's or earlier. It is columnar in shape growing to a height of 5' with moderate to heavy suckering. Leaves average 10"-12" in width and 20"-22" in length with yields 2-3 oz of dried leaf per plant. Diamantina seems to be closely related and may have been developed from Punta De Lanza. Maturity is in 60 days. Punta De Lanza has a very high nicotine content of 6.64%, the highest of any tobaccum type we have found.
