Mopan Mayan is an heirloom tobacco grown in Guatemala by the Mopan Mayan natives, who are direct descendents of the ancient Mayas. It is a primitive plant type and is likely the true genetic strain grown by their ancestors. It grows to 5' in height and reaches maturity in 50-55 days. The leaves average 12" wide by 16" long, cure to a light brown, and have a nicotine content of 2.8%. . |
