Havana 501 is a Wisconsin grown strain of Havana with good resistance to Wildfire disease. It also has better resistance to air pollutants such as sulfur dioxide and ozone caused weather fleck on the leaves when compared to many other Havana strains. The columnar shaped plants grow 4 1/2 to 5 feet at the flower head producing 12-15 leaves per plant. The leaf is large being 12-15 inches in width and 28-32 inches long. The average time to bloom and maturity is 60 days. The leaves ripen about two weeks after bloom.
