 Glessnor (also spelled "Glessner") is an heirloom Pennsylvania Seed Leaf variety from Lancaster County. It makes excellent cigar wrapper, binder and filler. The plant grows to an average height of 4 to 5 feet to the crows foot. It produces 15 to 20 leaves from 20 to 30 inches long and 8 to 14 inches  in width. Maturity is in 55 to 60 days. It is usually stalk cut and air-cured on the stalk. It tends to color cure to a deep, chestnut brown. Yield: is about 2 -3 ounces of cured leaf per plant
